DANA MELAVER

Dead Dana is an ongoing, collaborative project, which explores death as a part of the cluster that is ourselves. The work is inspired by research on bacterial aquaculture practices, and fueled by an intense fear of death. The project of Dead Dana is composed of many parts, including video (1:52m), digital c-prints, inkjet prints, and a canvas doll known as "Dead Dana." The project is made with Jiakun Lin, Kendall Jacob, Dylan Gliganic, Will Meyers, Rinat Brodach, Moran Dankner, Tom Claudon, and more to come.
